Second Annual SHOOTIN’ FOR A CHANGE Event Has Been Set

***Open To The Public***

Have you ever wanted to shoot a gun but don’t have the opportunity to do so? Well, think again! Here is your opportunity! Kirtland’s Service Learning Department has scheduled it’s Second Annual SHOOTIN’ FOR A CHANGE.

On Tuesday April 24th, 2012, from 2 – 6 p.m. you will have the chance to shoot a wide wariety of guns at Kirtland’s own shooting range across from the main campus in Roscommon.

Guns available for firing will be handguns and long guns both! From the classic 22 caliber rifle, to black powder, shotguns, assault rifles, and numerous calibers of handguns. Have you ever wanted to go bigger? We have the opportunity for that as well! How about touching off a CANNON? Yes, I said cannon!

This event is hosted by the Kirtland Community College service learning department as a fundraiser. All proceeds will go to promote student community service opportunities.

Please bring your own eye and ear protection if you have it. The Kirtland range has a limited supply if needed.

There is a $2 entry fee to the range and firing of guns costs $5, and touching off the cannon is $5 as well.

***THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC***
